My
CPAN mirror is refreshed by RSYNC and CRON
three times a week and manually before I upgrade a system
that is accessing it, by my default in the
/usr/lib/perl5/5.8.0/CPAN/config.pm
You can bypass the FirstTime.pm by manually
placing Admin.pm and Config.pm
in the directory
before your first run of the CPAN module.
This is a private although accessible mirror that you can use
for company upgrades, until we provide the same service from company servers

This configuration can be implemented on any other
system
by copying the content below that is between the "cut here" comment

and saving it as the Snapshot name that is listed in the package Bundle
reference below.
Save it as a text file with a .pm extension, in the appropriate place for your
system,
then call it from within the CPAN module by
install Bundle::Snapshot_name (without the .pm extension)
alternately you can cut and paste the line after =head1
